In roller technology, forming and cutting are made possible not through successive punching and forming strokes, but by moving the sheet between two steel rollers. This enables travel speeds up to the maximum axis speed, depending on the sheet thickness and machining direction.Wheel tools offer an alternative to conventional cutting and forming tools in the fabrication of continuous beads, continuous steps and long cuts in thin sheet up to maximum 2.5mm thick, depending on the material. The higher travel speed yields shorter machining times and also lowers the production costs.
Contours of any type can be produced, from straight lines to arcs and circles. Machining is virtually noise-free.
Effective immediately, the wheel tools can be used on the TC3000 ROTATION, with optimum support offered by ToPs300.
