Laser-edge-quality punching and profiling with TRUMPF Multishear, precision bending with TRUMPF Multibend, rotation of all tools and the introduction of patented roller technology – these are just four aspects of our new TC3000R that make it an extremely versatile machine.
Another new feature introduced with this machine is the modular switch cabinet. Thanks to a new, patent-pending technique, additional options can now be easily retro-fitted via Plug and Play.
The output values of the TC3000R are impressive – 900 strokes/minute for punching and 2,200 for marking. Tool changing is also incredibly fast – just 3.1 seconds for standard tools and 0.6 seconds for Multitools. Thanks to the easily accessible linear magazine, pre-loaded tool sets can be manually exchanged exceptionally quickly.
The TC3000R’s new roller technology makes it possible to produce straight geometries, curves and fillets in specific materials up to 2.5mm thick, an application that is of primary interest to climate control and ventilation engineering.
An integrated lubricating device greatly enhances the quality of the forming process. It extends tool life especially when processing aluminium and galvanized steel.
Processing work on a separate press brake is no longer necessary with this latest Trumatic and stop inaccuracies are avoided as the part is positioned in the sheet skeleton. Extrusions and threads can also be introduced. Tapping tools from M2.5 to M10 are available for a large range of sheet thicknesses.
The machine’s programmable stripper holds the workpiece flat, actively positioning it for each punching stroke. As its force is infinitely adjustable, it is possible to process sensitive materials without pressure marks and process close to already-formed areas.
Workpieces are automatically removed through a 500mm x 500mm parts chute. Even thin sheets can be pushed out with the spring-loaded stripper without the part or scrap-skeleton snagging.
Behind the task-orientated operating menu is an open Bosch PNC-P control. Programming is via TRUMPF’s ToPs 300 system using easy to use technology tables. This is a new version of the ToPs 300 programming system, written to support the use of roller technology. Remote maintenance of the TC3000R is possible using telediagnostics.
