PROFIWELD

The manual laser welding workstation ProfiWeld from TRUMPF Laser is especially impressive for its compact di-mensions and its low weight. It is both portable and transport-able. Welding smoke extraction, cooling system and also inert gas feed are all integrated into the housing. A normal 230V connection is all you need to begin work immediately.

The ergonomic design of the appliance with its special arm-rest, generous legroom and an easy-access opening to the welding area all enable relaxed, fatigue-free and precise working. Supervision of the welding process takes place via a stereo microscope with magnification of 25 diameters.

With laser power of up to 50 W and pulsing power of up to 5 kW, the ProfiWeld is optimally suited to manual spot and seam welding of small workpieces. Individual parts and short runs can be rationally machined. The focal diameter can be varied between 0.3 and 2.0 millimeters, and alterations of pulsing duration between 0.5 and 20 milliseconds enables melt volume to be adapted to suit the respective application. Welding depths of up to 2 mm are possible.

Applications for the ProfiWeld can be found in such sectors as precision engineering and the jewellery industry. It is also highly suitable for repair welding on tools.
