For our customers, it is a great advantage to have a grinding device that is always available when needed and which also allows quick and easy sharpening of TRUMPF punching tools. Quicksharp is the device that makes it all possible! For more than 15 years the quicksharp concept has provided an innovative solution using face-end grinding and allowing amazingly easy installation of the machinery, the hydraulic and electrical systems. Over the years, customer demands for operation and design have changed drastically. Also with the increased performance of our punch presses, the level of care required for the punching tools has increased. The new quicksharp ITM greatly increases existing customer benefits. Besides the improvements to the grinding process, the tool length measurement function of the multiset ITM has also been integrated into the system. Particular attention was given to the appearance and ergonomic design of the machine (for operation, tool change, and presetting). The quicksharp ITM was first introduced during the Euroblech fair in November 2002. The sales release was given recently and first machines were delivered end of June.
