CHRISTMAS SHUT-DOWN PRECAUTIONS

With this in mind, TRUMPF Ltd. strongly recommend that precautions are taken to ensure that the ambient temperatures of buildings/workshops are maintained at a level well above “freezing point” to prevent cooling system problems during the shutdown period. It is also recommended that machine controls are fitted with new batteries prior to the machines being switched OFF in order to prevent control problems when work is recommenced. The other option to prevent control problems is to leave the machines switched ON at the cabinet isolator with the “emergency stop” button activated.

Failure to comply with the above could result in major inconvenience and cost to yourselves when work is commenced in the New Year but more importantly could result in the invalidation of machine Warranty and/or Service Contract agreements should a problem arise.

TRUMPF Ltd. will be closed for the period Friday 21st December 2007 to Wednesday 2nd January 2008 inclusively but problems encountered during this period for customers who are working can be logged on “voice mail” by calling the Service Help Desk number – 0870 125 2300 - whereby it will be dealt with on our return.
