The growing demand in the UK for its power supplies for plasma applications, induction heating and laser excitation has led process energy specialist Huettinger Electronics to establish a dedicated sales and service subsidiary in Luton. A new and key member of its team is Kevin Roughton who has been appointed the company’s new Product Manager.
A career in engineering has taken Kevin from the shop floor and into sales management. More recently he was responsible for area sales in marking technology and subsequently machine tools. In his new role he is responsible for the product sales and applications support for the Huettinger products from Germany and Poland, a range that is known for its high quality.
A TRUMPF Group company, Huettinger Electronics is based at the Technology Centre in Luton established by its sister company, the production technology specialist, TRUMPF Limited. This is a good synergy as for many years Huettinger has supplied TRUMPF with generators for CO2 laser excitation.
