It has been a long held tradition that the latest production technology is the main attraction at the TRUMPF In-Tech Open House events. Whilst this remains true at this year’s In-Tech visitors will also meet with state-of-the-art architectural design. The 2007 Open House will be the first to be held in the brand new Technology Centre at Luton.

Visitors to Euroblech could not have failed to notice the TRUMPF stand characterised by clean lines and simple messages. Designed by the same architects the new TRUMPF Technology Centre will follow this theme and house the very best facilities for pre-and post-sales support.

As to the machines themselves TRUMPF will of course be featuring all its technology groups - punching, forming and bending, laser cutting, laser processing and laser marking. And true to form it will also be launching new machines the most significant of which is the TruLaser 5030, the new flagship flat bed laser.
 
Naturally the TruLaser 5030 is superior to its forerunner. A key feature is its cutting head that processes all sheet metal thicknesses eliminating the need for head-changing. This is particularly advantageous for those automatically processing various materials. Greater process control, intelligent collision protection and modular automation characterise this next-generation machine.

For those seeking a compact and flexible fabrication centre with integrated automation TRUMPF will also be introducing the new TruLaser 2030. In addition to a small footprint this 2D laser machine is characterised by its new TruCoax 2000 laser. This resonator uses diffusion cooling eliminating the need to circulate the laser gas. This in turn means fewer moving parts, minimal wear and again a more compact design.
