The time of year has arrived again whereby most customers close for the period between Christmas and the New Year.
With this in mind, TRUMPF strongly recommend that precautions are taken to ensure that the ambient temperature of buildings/workshops are maintained at a level well above “freezing point” to prevent cooling systems from freezing during the shutdown period. It is also recommended that machine controls are fitted with new batteries prior to the machines being switched OFF in order to prevent control problems when work is commenced. The other option to prevent control problems is to leave the machines switched ON at the cabinet isolator with the “emergency stop” button activated.
Failure to comply with the above could result in major inconvenience and cost to yourselves when work is recommenced in the New Year but more importantly could result in the invalidation of machine Warranty and/or Service Contract agreements should a problem arise.
The TRUMPF offices in Luton will be closing for the Xmas period on Friday 23rd December and reopening on Tuesday, 3rd January 2006 at 8am. Should you require assistance during this period, please call the Service Number on 0870 125 2300.
On a more cheerful note may we take this opportunity of wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
